A second defendant is appealing his seven-year sentence for his alleged participation in a $100 million mortgage fraud.
Shinon Lindberg was sentenced to the same seven-year prison sentence as his codefendant Scott Rosenlund. Both men were found guilty of buying and flipping homes using straw buyers and false information to secure mortgage loans through 10Spring Homes in Minnesota.
The judge agreed to free both men on bail pending appeals. Rosenlund Lindberg posted his bail and is free on appeal but Lindberg's attorney said he isn't sure Lindberg's family can raise the money to post his bail.
