Appraiser to be Sentenced

An Ohio appraiser who artificially inflated an appraisal, failed to disclose known violations and a relevant business relationship to the property appraised, is to be sentenced today.
Lavon Ivy, 38, was charged with theft by deception, securing a writing by deception, forgery, communications fraud, receiving stolen property and falsification.
She faces a maximum of up to 26 years in prison.
