Fraud Suspect Heads Back to Jail

A couple suspected of running a multimillion-dollar mortgage fraud scheme violated the terms of their bail, which is sending the husband back to jail and the wife to be detained at home with electronic monitoring.
Darryl and Cynthia Underwood were told by the judge not to conduct any real estate business while out on bond. Mrs. Underwood testified that her husband retrieved mail from the company P.O. box, including checks he cashed and picked up payments from tenants living in homes their company owns.
The pair ran Walkwood Properties in Virginia, which is under investigation for allegedly swindling several homeowners.
