Two brothers and an accomplice committed over $2 million in mortgage fraud with properties in Virginia.
Mohammed Rababeh, 29, was sentenced to 24 months in prison and his brother Ahmed Rababeh was sentenced to 18 months. Both had pleaded guilty to a scheme that used Randolph Baltimore, 50, as the buyer on four properties, leading to as much as $1 million in losses to lenders. Baltimore was sentenced to one year in prison.
In addition, the Rababeh brothers committed other acts of mortgage fraud that bilked lenders of another $1 million.
