Oct. 31 -- Ford Shelley Jr. -- the local developer whose acquaintance with the late Playboy model Anna Nicole Smith helped fuel a media circus following her death -- has agreed to plead guilty to a felony charge of mail fraud related to allegedly falsified mortgages he helped to arrange for his Pineapple Bay condominium project in Myrtle Beach.
