Confessed Thief Flees the U.S

February 6, 2009
The mortgage broker who confessed to defrauding homeowners and lenders of almost $1 billion in mortgage loans has fled the country on a private jet.
Christopher Warren had posted a seven-page essay on the front page of Triduanum Financial Web site detailing the past several years of fraud in which he has been involved. The most recent was a $100 million fraud scheme that led to charges against the 27-year-old self-professed fraudster and Loomis Wealth Solutions.
In his confession, Warren asked for forgiveness from a higher power after admitting that he knew what he was doing was illegal and a Ponzi scheme, but had no qualms about getting close to $50 million in mortgages secured and closed.
He's been charged with bank fraud, mail fraud and conducting a financial crimes enterprise. Warren's attorney told News10 that he doesn't know of Warren's whereabouts.
