Family Sentencing Ensues: More Details

Two sisters have been sentenced in a mortgage fraud scheme that cost taxpayer's $3 million. Meanwhile, a husband and daughter await trial for their alleged roles.
Kandace Marriott's sister, Karen Hayes was sentenced to 18 years in prison after Marriott received 99 years. It's reported that Hayes received the 18 years after a plea bargain with prosecutors. Marriott's husband and daughter were also indicted and are awaiting trial.
The defendants allegedly falsified documents for the purchase transactions of manufactured homes for individuals that would otherwise not qualify.
