Fraud "Expert" Hosts Teleseminar Series

Ralph Roberts offers free advice and prevention tips in "Victims of Real Estate and Mortgage Fraud"

Warren, Mich. -- (Dec. 29, 2006) -- On January 2, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. one of the nation’s leading experts in real estate and mortgage fraud, Ralph Roberts (www.ralphroberts.com), will host a free teleconference call to offer advice on how to avoid real estate and mortgage fraud and what to do if you believe you’ve been targeted.

According to FBI statistics, real estate and mortgage fraud has cost the American public over a billion dollars in 2005. This is double the amount from the year before. Many people may not realize they are victims until they find themselves in foreclosure or have been evicted. The American dream of homeownership is quickly becoming a nightmare.

This call is the first of a new monthly series of calls (scheduled for the first Tuesday of each month) planned by Roberts to address the many requests he gets for help on this topic every week. People find his blog, Flipping Frenzy (www.flippingfrenzy.com) and tell their stories of how they are victims of real estate and mortgage fraud and ask what can they do. “The seminar will allow me to help more people,” he says. This initial call will cover the signs of real estate and mortgage fraud and will give listeners tips for both prevention and solutions if they feel they’ve been scammed.

The seminar series is just one of the ways Roberts is working to fight real estate and mortgage fraud.
