Shortage of Fraud Investigators

A radio news show has brought light to the fact there is a shortage of mortgage fraud investigators as the cases are piling up.
NPR Radio is shedding some light on the subject with a pod cast that includes excerpts from interviews with regards to some of the high profile mortgage fraud cases in the country, including the $100 million fraud scheme centered around Loomis Wealth Solutions. Two employees of Loomis were indicted on 44 counts of mortgage fraud related charges: Christopher Warren and Scott Cavell.
As the number of mortgage fraud task forces increases, so does the need for more investigators which has some officials concerned given the lack of resources.
