Former Legislator Under Suspicion

A New York lawyer's office was searched as part of an ongoing investigation into mortgage fraud involving a large number of properties in the Hamptons.
George Guldi, a former Democratic legislator from Westhampton Beach said law officials took 30 years of his files and that they were trying to drive him out of business. His attorneys maintain he is innocent and that the DA's office was "being overzealous" claiming they took Guldi's children's pictures as well.
Law officials deny they took the pictures, stating they only seized records of suspected real estate transactions.
