Two other men have been named in an indictment against a man who publicly denied any wrongdoing in what has become a multimillion-dollar mortgage fraud investigation.
Ronald William Haycock Sr., 61, has been indicted along with Lyle Clay Smith, 43; and Jamis Melwood Johnson, 57 in the scheme investigators say involved straw buyers purchasing homes in various Utah cities. The trio was charged with 10 counts of mail fraud, 12 counts of wire fraud, 15 counts of money laundering and one charge of conspiracy.
