A woman was arrested after allegedly trying to sell a house out from under the homeowner.
Tamptha S. Hickman, 39, allegedly tried to conduct numerous real estate transactions under the name of Capitol City REO Investors, but she had no real estate license. One woman said she paid Hickman $3800 to negotiate a mortgage loan modification and received not services whatsoever.
Another alleged victim said Hickman tried selling her house without telling them.
