A 35-year-old man who ran a home-redevelopment business has been sentenced to more than four years in federal prison for participating in a mortgage fraud scheme.
Gregory Finney, owner of now-defunct A & M Homes, was sentenced to four years and five months in prison after targeting low-income people to use in the a flipping scheme. Finney along with Robert Dodsworth and Frank Kartesz II allegedly bought dilapidated homes in Erie, Penn. and sold them at inflated prices.
Dodsworth is serving six year and four months, and Kartesz II is serving three years and seven months. Both were charged with fraud and conspiracy.
