The former silent partner of an exclusive nightclub pleaded guilty to mortgage fraud charges.
Darrell Rodgers, 34, admitted to opening New Family Mortgage in 2003 as a means to obtain mortgages through fraudulent means. Rodgers defrauded banks out of about $1 million in mortgages on 28 Chicago-area homes.
In one case, Rodgers inflated the income information of a woman so she could qualify to buy a $330,000 condominium and gave her $6,000 to show as assets.
