PRESS RELEASE
Automating Fraud Detection
Advanced Fraud Detection for Mid-Size Companies
|
| |
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. - (April 22, 2009) Alpine Consulting, Inc. today announced Alpine Identitnsight, an innovative fraud and collusion detection service.
"We have spent the past five years designing fraud mitigation solutions for some of our larger clients," explains Alpine's President, Stan Duda. "We realize that fraud detection is important to organizations of all sizes. We decided to develop the IdentityInsight service to make advanced fraud detection capabilities accessible to our mid-market customers."
"Mid-sized organizations are dealing with many of the same fraud challenges that have traditionally been associated with big business," says Duda. "Welfare fraud, claims fraud, mortgage application fraud - unfortunately, these problems occur outside the Federal Government and Fortune 500."
IdentityInsight is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution that analyzes client's existing data sources to uncover the inappropriate relationships and obscured identities that indicate fraudulent activity.
IdentityInsight automates many of the tedious information gathering and identity-linking activities that consume approximately 80% of an investigator's time. The service allows investigators to define their fraud search criteria and compile a qualified list of actionable investigative leads.
"In today's tough economic climate, IdentityInsight helps organizations maximize the productivity of their investigative resources," says Duda. "Our service compresses the investigation cycle and allows companies to be more proactive in their fraud mitigation efforts."
"We have also removed the need for up-front investments in hardware and implementation services," adds Duda. "Our model allows customers to be up and running within weeks."
Duda has seen early interest from investigators tackling welfare, insurance, and financial fraud. "Those are the hot spots," said Duda. "But our service can add value to a variety of fraud and compliance initiatives where investigators need a clear view of the individuals and relationships that affect their business."
IdentityInsight is available as a one-time "ad-hoc" service, and can also be purchased under a number of subscription programs.
