A judge had no choice but to evict a family from their home even though they were the victims of fraud, not the perpetrators.
Jorge Roche said he thought he was refinancing with 4 Solutions mortgage company. After making the first two payments he was informed that the house had a different owner. Wells Fargo had already sold the house and the eviction notice was already signed. Roche conceded that the judge could not do anything to stop it at that point.
Roche, his brother Joseph and mother, Arcelia Burgos, 68, are now homeless.
