Fulmer, a vice president with mortgage fraud prevention provider Interthinx, talked with Gerri Willis at Fox Business about the kinds of mortgage-related fraud schemes that are proliferating in the current environment.
One of the schemes Fulmer described was a "flop." In such schemes, lenders are deceived into accepting less in a short-sale transaction because the value of the property was artificially deflated.
